The Calgary Stampede!!!!
The Band was privileged to be a part of the100th Calgary Stampede parade this year, with the Glenmore Temple Band (www.glenmoretemple.com). The Glenmore Band is the longest standing Band in the parade!
We were welcomed with loving arms from the Glenmore Corps, and we had a wonderful time that will never be forgotten.
Thank you to Jeff Haskey and The Glenmore Band for hosting us, taking really good care of us, and making us feel like a part of the family.

The Salvation Army Heritage Brass Band under the leadership of Ian Watkinson In Concert May 5th 2012 at Peterborough Temple
The 42 members of the band come from many corps throughout the greater Toronto area and beyond
Every member is a veteran of Salvation Army banding and most of them have retired from their vocations
Come and join us on May 5th at 7pm to hear some wonderful music

OTTAWA!
Visiting our Nation's Capital
The Band visited Ottawa at the end of April. We played on Parliament Hill and then A concert At Ottawa Citadel on Saturday. On Sunday we participated in the Church Service and left for home after lunch. We had an amazing time. The band played well and we got to proclaim the message of God. A great weekend.

Playing O Canada at the Petes game
December 8th 2011 - It was the annual teddy bear toss at the Petes game to collect toys for the Salvation Army toy drive

Awesome music was provided live by our own Deryck Robertson, Marie Snow, Earl Robbins, and Craig Mumford.
We had a silent auction and a live auction by a professional auctioneer.
Absoultly amazing food... wow! Thankyou to Ron Hawthorne for supplying and carving our delicious pig. Yum!
A big thankyou to the dinner committie; Ron Reid (bandmaster), Jen Wight, Lisa Quackenbush, Rick Allen and thankyou to the band members and volunteers from the church for helping make the evening run smoothly and to everyone who donated auction items.
A great time had by all!!!!

The Band participated in the parade this year and tied for winning the Best Band!!

The Band had special guests from England, Derek Kane ( Principal euphonium Internation Staff Band) and Andrew Blyth (guest conductor/ composer). The videos I took were a little blurry at the beginning but it gets better... it's all about the music anyways : ) The first video is the band under the direction of our band master Ron Reid. The second video is of the youth band under the direction of the guest conductor Andrew Blyth.

Saint Patrick's Day 2011
The Band is out again on another saint patrick's day parade.. proclaiming the message of God
The Salvation Army Peterborough Temple Band Presented:
Norwich Citadel Band From England
From Norwich England, The Band under the direction of Bandmaster Richard Woodrow is on it's US/Canada tour and stopped at Peterborough Temple last night for a wonderful concert.
They played to a full house with a standing ovation. They are a very multi-talented group with a piano player, ballerina, singer, and amazing soloists.
Thank you to all who took part in organizing, hosting as billets and helping out with serving dinner to our guests.
And a big thank you to the Norwich Citadel Band for putting on a great concert. A great night had by all!
